Concord Academy Summer Camp’s traditional camp programs run for eight weeks and feature four age-appropriate camps for campers 3 to 15. Each camp has its own schedule of activities, counselors, and special events.

Kiddie Camp
Cost: $360
Kiddie Camp is a half-day program from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, with weekly sign-ups for children entering pre-k and kindergarten. We also offer an afternoon extension for campers who prefer to stay until 4:00pm. Registration forms for the afternoon extension will be sent to registered camp families in early spring and is available on a daily or weekly basis. All campers must be toilet trained prior to coming to camp.

Kiddie Campers have their own homerooms in a central building with their own bathrooms. These homerooms are used to store their belongings, as well as to gather for group time. Just outside their homerooms is a playground, as well as a sports field to play on. Kiddie Campers enjoy two activity choices per day, plus group time and daily swim lessons.

The Kiddie Camp staff works exclusively with our youngest campers. Our program concentrates on developing both motor skills as well as social skills in a warm, nurturing atmosphere where campers are encouraged to expand their experiences in a safe environment. While all activities are age appropriate, Kiddie Campers are able to participate in most of the same activities as the older kids, except for archery and canoeing. Daily swimming lessons, snack, and hot lunch are included for every Kiddie Camper.

Day Camp
Cost: $540
CASC Day Camp is a full-day program, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with weekly sign-ups for entering first graders through sixth graders. Day Campers have full use of the Concord Academy campus and can participate in all activities offered. Much of the Day Camp day depends on a camper’s interests; campers can choose which activities they would like to participate in each day. Every camper is required to have swim lessons every day, and there is also a separate free swim time. Ample time is provided for children to interact with other campers their age and to make friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

This is a sample schedule, actual schedule may vary. Activities may include: tennis, music, archery, drama, team sports, group games, nature, low ropes, ceramics, arts & crafts, dance, woodshop, and canoeing.

Teen Adventure Camp
Cost: $1,440
For teenagers entering seventh, eighth, and ninth grades, CA offers a series of four two-week adventure-based sessions. Teens spend some time on the CA campus engaging in a variety of team-building activities, but they primarily travel off campus each day. Daily adventures vary by session, but may include visits to the New England Aquarium or the Museum of Science, trips to an amusement park, scavenger hunts in Boston, hiking, indoor skydiving, trapeze school, and more! Each two-week session includes a three-day, two-night overnight experience in Maine consisting of white water rafting, rock climbing, or canoeing. Each session’s activities are different, but all include the opportunity to have exciting, new experiences each day. The Teen Adventure Camp day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Space is limited in this very popular camp. Don’t let your teen miss out - register early!

C.I.T.
Counselor in Training July 7-August 1
Entering tenth grade or 15-years-old by June 23, 2008 • Cost: $880
Our C.I.T. program was designed for our older campers interested in working with children and becoming counselors. This 4 week program will help our future leaders learn different styles of working with children, problem solving, leading groups, teaching styles, and positive reinforcement. The sessions will include community building projects, “classroom” style learning, special event planning, as well as hands-on work with groups of various ages. Participants will be complete First Aid and CPR certification training and will have an opportunity to practice for future job interviews. Each C.I.T. will be evaluated several times throughout the session and successful graduates may be invited to return as Junior Counselors for future weeks or next summer. All registered C.I.T.s will receive an additional information packet from the C.I.T. Director in early spring.

"My children absolutely loved it!! All of them (2 in day camp, 1 in team leadership) said they wanted to come back next year."
