Tennis Camp
One Week Sessions, offered weeks 2 - 8
entering grades 1 - 12 • Cost $610
Concord Academy Summer Camp has again partnered with New England Team Tennis (NETT) to offer the highest quality Tennis Camp in the area. Eric Meyer, the Director of NETT and the Head Tennis Coach at Concord Academy since 1994, heads a top-notch staff of Certified Tennis Pros. Camps are open to all levels from the Beginners to the Nationally Ranked. Courts will be separated by age and ability and then structured accordingly.
Daily programs include stretching and footwork, feeding drills, live ball drills, strategic point play, match play, field games, and fitness. NETT uses the QuickStart format for the youngsters with smaller courts, nets, and balls.
Our first through sixth graders have the option to participate in a full day of Tennis, or a half-day of Tennis and a half-day of Day Camp. Those participating in a full day of Tennis will still have an optional free swim period, or can stay on the courts for personalized instruction.
The USTA awarded New England Team Tennis, Inc. the prestigious William Freedman Award for Outstanding Contribution in Junior Development in New England. Soccer Camp
July 16 - 20, August 13 - 17 • Ages 7 - 14 • Cost: $610
This five-day soccer camp utilizes the latest techniques in training and instruction, with the aid of modern equipment and excellent facilities, and provides each camper with help in individual skills and the application of these skills to group tactics. Campers will be provided instruction based on their needs and abilities. There will be daily camp games and fun activities which will be used to help instill technical skills, footwork, sportsmanship, teamwork, and FUN!
Campers will be grouped by skill level and will spend the morning in skill development. In the afternoon session, small sided and full games will allow campers to practice their skills in a real game setting. Each camper should bring cleats, shinguards, mouthguard, water bottle, bathing suit, and towel. |

Boys Lacrosse Camp
July 30 - August 3 • Boys entering grades 1 - 8 • Cost: $610
Concord Academy Summer Camp is once again offering lacrosse camp for boys entering grades 1 - 8. Our staff is comprised of former/current
division 1 and 3 college players. Their expertise and experience mean campers learn and practice up-to-date techniques. We pledge that each camper will have a positive learning experience. We’ll work together on individual skills and team play. All aspects of the game are covered, and each camper is given the opportunity to develop his skills and knowledge of the game. In addition, our coaches are available for specialized one-on-one sessions that help target weaknesses and facilitate the quickest improvement. Our passion is lacrosse. Girls Lacrosse Camp
July 23 - July 27 • Girls ages 9 - 13 • Cost $610
Concord Academy is offering a new girl’s lacrosse camp this summer designed for girls ages 9-13. This camp is for girls who want to bring their lacrosse game to a new level through learning advanced techniques, perfecting the fundamentals, and having a ton of FUN! Run by Concord Academy’s head girl’s lacrosse coach, this lacrosse camp promises to challenge your player’s skills and teach them to think innovatively about the game of lacrosse.
Players will get an in-depth look into all positions of the field to become a more solid and well-rounded lacrosse player. Specifically, we will instruct and improve your player’s individual skills (dodges, stick skills, shooting, defensive/offensive positioning, draws, 50/50s, etc.) and team concepts (offensive cuts, man-to-man/zone defense, clears, fast breaks, and transition). The mornings will generally be spent doing small group work and games with larger scrimmages and contests in the afternoons. Highlights of the week will also include a camp talent show and “native” lacrosse game. So be a part of the CA girl’s lacrosse camp and join us this summer!
About CA Head Coach Nikki Yesalavage: Nikki has coached for Tri-State Lacrosse, one of the most elite club lacrosse teams in the U.S. for over 8 years. She was also a former high school stand-out at the Peddie School where she was a member of the 2003 Prep A State Championship team, was voted 2005 and 2006 All-NJ, 1st team All-League, and 1st team All-County. Nikki played college lacrosse at Saint Mary’s College of Maryland. She also coached for NIKE lacrosse camps for the past few years. |

This popular camp program is for campers that cannot get enough SPORTS, SPORTS, SPORTS! Each day we will focus on two different sports-learning the game, practicing the specific skills through fun drills, and of course actual game play. Teamwork will be emphasized as well as sportsmanship and above all FUN! Some of the sports may include, but are not limited to: baseball, soccer, street hockey, lacrosse, flag football, basketball, volleyball, and more! |

Concord Academy Summer Camp has once again teamed up with Plum Blossom Academy of Littleton to bring you the best in Kung Fu Kids Camp! Last year’s Kung Fu Campers had a blast-don’t let your child miss out on the fun this summer!
Every day at Kung Fu Camp is exciting! Campers spend the day learning the ancient art of Praying Mantis Kung Fu. Old style training includes; Mantis strikes and kicks, monkey footwork, and mantis hands. Each helping to build confidence and skill in a safe environment. Daily stretching and meditation will help with focus. For an added bonus - Kung Fu Campers will learn to perform the Chinese Lion Dance, and be introduced to Praying Mantis Sword and Staff (with soft foam weapons). Kung Fu Campers end the week on a high note, producing a real live Kung Fu movie, complete with Lion Dance, performed for the entire camp.
Kung Fu Kids Camp will be instructed by Laoshi Holly Cyr who runs the kids program at Plum Blossom Academy. Children love her classes and strive for their best under her guidance and supervision. Laoshi Cyr has been training 4 to 6 days/week since she began lessons 3 years ago. She has had the highest attendance of any student, been one of the fastest to climb the ranks, and is currently one of only two people to have reached the level of Brown Sash in Kung Fu in Plum Blossom Academy.

Baseball Camp
July 9 - July 13
Ages 7 - 9 • Cost: $610
This beginner/intermediate level baseball camp will provide basic baseball instruction and game play. Morning drills will focus on throwing and catching, fielding, hitting, and game strategy. Afternoons will consist of small-sided as well as full-sized games. A combination of regular baseballs as well as Indoor “Ragball”- style baseballs will be used. All Campers should bring their own baseball glove. An emphasis will be placed on teamwork, fair game play, sportsmanship, and of course FUN! |

Courts and Fields

This new sports camp will feature ½ day tennis instruction and game play from New England Team Tennis (see page 7) in the morning and after lunch will play various field sports throughout the week including soccer, ultimate Frisbee, and more. Campers will also have an optional free swim in the afternoon..

Flag Football
August 6 - August 10
Ages 8 - 12 • Cost: $610
Play like a Patriot! Our sports staff will lead this one-week exciting camp exploring the fundamentals of position and strategy of football, in a low-contact, no-pads, safe environment. Participants will learn to play every position of the game on offense, defense, and the kicking game. Mornings will consist of warm-ups, skill building, and drills, while the afternoon scrimmages will allow practice in an actual game environment. Teamwork will be emphasized as well as sportsmanship and, of course, FUN! Flag Football campers will also have the opportunity to attend a field trip to the New England Patriot’s Hall of Fame at Gillette Stadium. |

Mini Sports!
These one-hour programs are designed to be introductions to sports and are taught by the same staff that run our very successful sports camps. Participants can register just for the hour, or in addition to Kiddie Camp or Day Camp.
Boys and Girls ages 4 - 6
9:30-10:30 AM
Cost: $150 ($75 if camper is already enrolled in camp that week, note sports class will take the place of
regular camp programming for that hour)
Mini Sluggers July 9 - 13
This fun introduction to baseball will focus on rules of the game, running the bases, throwing, catching, and batting. A combination of soft Ragballs and wiffleballs will be used. Participants should bring their own baseball glove.
Mini Laxers July 30 - August 3
This is a fun exciting introduction to lacrosse. Basic skills of throwing, catching, cradling, shooting, and ground balls will be taught with a basic introduction of the game. The only equipment Mini Laxers need is a stick.
Mini Kickers July 16 - 20, August 13 - 17
This fun beginner/intermediate soccer class will help develop participants understanding and love for the game. Each day will consist of a new skill-of-the-day with drills and games focused around dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and general rules of the game. Get ready to run and score gooooaaallls! Participants should wear shinguards. |
